got 69 percentile in February Attempt,75 percentile in March Attempt JEE Main 2021....And expecting 80-85 percentile in April Attempt can I get any NIT with EWS catagory plz answer

Tanmay V 4th Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

See for final result and Rank NTA will consider best out of all your attempts.

So if we consider you are getting 85 percentile  as you mentioned, then your CRL Rank would be : 153450 - 172500 in this range.

JEE Mains Rank/Percentile Predictor:

Now if rank is in this range, and according to previous year data of cutoff ranks, there aren't  much chances for NITs with this.

You can explore other options using -

I got march 2021 in jee mains 99.5 percentile, but already 1st year completed civil branch in tirchy nit. I dont like civil so discontinue it and I join this year cse branch in any best nit. college fee structure problem or not. last year total fee free this year whats.my father income below 1lac.

Shivam Kumar 12th Aug, 2021

You need not worry about your fees as in most NITs, full remission of the Tuition Fee is there for General and OBC students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum. But you have to take care of the annual fees and hostel charges.

For example -

NIT Warangal

Tuition Fees            0 (in your case)

One Time Fees    24,500

Annual Fees            7,500

Hostel Seat Rent (per Year)    5000 (Boys) and 2000 (Girls)

Electricity & Water charges (per Year)    5,500

NIT Surathkal

One Time Fees    5,250

Tuition Fee (per Semester)    0 (in your case)

Other Fees (per Semester)    2,100

Annual Fees    13,030

Hostel Seat Rent (per Semester)    6,300

Mess charges (per Semester)    10,700

Mess Advance (per Semester)    18,000

I scored 92 percentile in March phase can i get free seat based on sc category cota in Computer science

GyanaPrakashRout 5th Aug, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations on scoring 92%tile in march phase. The free based on SC category quota in computer science differ from college to college and some basic eligibility like based on your income certificate they will decide you can get a free seat or not. But normally in Government colleges the fees is very less for Sc category and you can apply for scholarships that will help in fees concession.

You can check which colleges you will get according to your %tile check this link:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope this helps.

my marks is 203 in jee mains march 2021 , but why my percentile is 71.2 ???? is there any possibility of getting any good NIT or GFIT or trible iit ?? I am from OBC class

Atul Singh 9th Sep, 2021

This Student,

this can't be possible that one who scored 203 marks and got only 71 type percentile, maybe you should have done any mistakes while matching the answer key or your misunderstanding led you to this.

Anyways, you can't get any colleges through JOSSA counselling because of low rank and percentile so better if you take a drop for the next year preparation or take admission in some private college. List of some top private colleges are given below, you can consider them before taking admission in any of them.

  • Amity University
  • JIIt
  • KIIT
  • Thapar
  • LPU
  • Sharda
  • Chandigarh University
  • SASTRA
  • PEC
  • Amrita school of engineering
  • SRM NCR
  • AKTU colleges of NCR region.

i scored 76 percentile in march attempt ,, and my catogery is st ,female , do i have chance in nit any branch or atleast do i get in any iiit ,

Nimisha Sharma 9th Sep, 2021
According to your percentile, your expected CRL rank will be around 2,50,000 and st category rank will be in the range 4500-4600. You have chances of getting lower level IIITs like IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Kota, etc.
Although it is unlikely for you to get IIIT Bangalore as its closing rank is generally around 2500-3000.
In NITs you have chances of getting NIT Goa, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Silchar, NIT Mizoram, etc.

Check out the link below to explore more college options according to your percentile.
