how many sc candidates failed in march attempt 2021 jee mains? how many sc candidates appeared for april attempt (july attempt) for jee mains? can this year cut-off for sc category will be same?

REVILLA SAI VAMSHI 29th Jul, 2021
Dear Aspirant,
Unfortunately category wise students count who Appeared for the JEE Main sessions individually were not officially announced by NTA and cutoffs vary every year depending on the toughness of question paper and number of students Attempting it so we can't expect cutoffs to remain same this time.

To view the previous year category wise cut-offs of JEE Main visit:

i got 23 marks in jee mains 2021 march attempt what is my exact percentile and rank?

Anurag Khanna 29th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your percentile and rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile and rank are expected to be in the range of 40.21 - 43.95 and 500000-600000 respectively.

You can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

Note that the percentile and rank which are predicted is only the expected percentile and rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile  and rank might vary depending upon current factors.

i got 53 percentile in jee mains 2021 sc category march attempt can i get any NITs

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Jul, 2021

Hi

With  53 percentile

Your sc rank will be around 40,000.

With above  rank, you have very low   chances in NITs .

For example

Under other state quota closing rank for some of the lower NIT for SC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • NIT Mizoram :- civil engineering :- 8376 sc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering:- 8641  sc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering :- 9207 sc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Try to get at least sc rank of around 9000 i. e at least around 85 percentile to get into NITs . To improve your score in remaining session of JEE main you should focus on your preparation go through previous year question papers ,mock test papers and to help you in your preparation we have jee main knockout out for you, for which  is provided below

I got 82.4 percentile in jee mains February session 2021 and 84.5 percentile in jee mains march session 2021. Will i be able to write jee advanced 2021? If not how much percentile should i score in jee mains to qualify for jee advanced 2021?

Tanmay V 28th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

If you are from general category , then no , with this percentile there aren't any chances for qualifying  for JEE Advanced.

For  JEE advanced one needs to score 90-91+ percentile in JEE Mains.(for general category)

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 26th Jul, 2021

Hi

Your best percentile out of all the attempts is considered for providing you rank and thus for admission

With 127 marks

It is quite difficult to make prediction but yes as per past year trend , you hold a chance to get a seat in NIT

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020, 50010 rank for general category for gender neutral under other state got a seat in National Institute of Technology Agartala,    Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

It has been  predicted on the basis of  past year data but  cut off/ closing rank for colleges changes every year depending upon factors like number of candidates that write jee main examination, difficulty level of the question paper for different shifts of jee main etc so

Comparison between Jee Mains March 18 th 2021 1 st slot and July 25 th 2021 second slot ?

ayanmukherjee045 25th Jul, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you want to know about the comparison between March 18th 2021 1st slot and July 25th 2021so let me tell you that this is a very relative question because something which is easy for me may not be easy for others and vice versa.

So, as per my view JEE mains 18th March paper was on a easier side because the questions from chemistry section were easy and physics was the toughest among all.

Respected my marks in jee march attempt were (-20) but in my july attempt they were (50) has i improve or 50 marks are easy to score

Atul Singh 25th Jul, 2021

Dear Student,

50 percentile is not a big deal to score in jee main, anyone who tick just random answers can achieve the percentile of 60, according to your previous one you have improved but this score is also not enough to take admission in any of the college, better you try one more attempt of August one and try to score more than 90 percentile so you may get some option to take admission in some private colleges with some fee concession.

You can also take direct admission in any institute of your region if you don't want to give the another attempt, you can give the exam of scholarship for that particular college (only few are available) to get some concession in fee amount.

Best of Luck!!!
