As per my knowledge Marine engineering course is not available in IITs & NIT but similar course like BTech in Naval Architecture and Ocean engineering is available in IIT kharagpur.
If you want to do marine engineering then i will suggest you to join IMU kolkata

You must be physically fit in all respect. The minimum acceptable eye sight for standard vision is +2.5 or -2.5(must not exceed it.). You must not be colour blind and free from any type of eye diseases.

I don’t think that this would be possible. Academic institutes accepts UGs from mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics for their masters programme, but a marine engineering graduate may not be accepted.
