my daughter got 221 marks in neet.we are obc d. any chance for mbbs in b category councilng.suggedt the college details.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Oct, 2020

Even with BC-D reservation, 221 marks are less for a seat in Management Quota. You will need atleast 400 for a seat under this Category. With 221, your daughter falls short by a wider margin. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year.

Hello aspirant,

The above score isn't enough to get admission via All India Quota Seats & State quota seats for MBBS & BDS programs to the government colleges. But you can try getting into some of the deemed private institutions. You can check the cutoffs for the colleges in Maharashtra

apeksha150598 18th Oct, 2020
Hi,

As you have not mentioned your category, assuming it to be general , getting a government college seat seems a little difficult. You can always try in top private institutions.

Hello,

It would had been better if you had mentioned your domicile and also the category to which you belong. However based upon the marks and rank that you have scored, you have chances for both government and private colleges, wait for the cutoffs to be released. BDS cutoff marks
