Hi , i have scored 97% in 10th and 94% in 12th & 83% in my graduation (bsc agriculture ) i really wanted to do my MBA In agri business management from IIM Bangalore . could you please suggest me on how to get into iimb?

shreyakhedkar05 17th Jul, 2021
Hello,
Agribusiness Management is a study related to system-wide business and managerial functions in Agrisector business. Many prestigious B-schools offer this course.
As you have asked about the selection process for  agri business management it is done through CAT. It is a Common Admission Test conducted by IIMs. Based on your CAT score IIM shortlists candidates for their second stage of selection. The selection process includes a written ability test (WAT) and a personal interview(PI). IIM consider previous academic records , relevant work experience while shortlisting and ranking them at various stages during the admission process. The MBA course in agribusiness management in IIMs is called post- graduation program in food and agribusiness management (PGP-FABM).
Currently, it is offered by two IIMs-IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Lucknow. IIM-B doesn't offer this course. But you can do your MBA from any of this two after qualifying CAT as these two are also the best Bschool in India giving excellent academics and placement.

which is better career options law or hotel management??

Sree Student Expert 7th Jun, 2021

Hello Kabita Kumari,

Select the field you have more interest. Because it is very important to have interest rather than scope in the field to have a successful professional life. If you have interest in less scope course then that interest in the field will make you excel in that field.

Coming to Law and Hotel Management courses. Law exists forever. So demand for Law is evergreen. On the other side Hotel Management is something which growing good now a days. Both the professions are different from each other. If you are interested in Hospitality and service then go for Hotel Management. If you want to become Lawyer then go for law. If you wish you can do both also. First complete Hotel Management degree and then apply for LLB course and after completion you can work as Legal Advisor, Advocate, Lawyer, Law Repoter, Public Prosecutor, Professor etc. These can be done by completing degree in other fields also.

Hope this helps you.

Good Luck!!

I admitted to a college by paying 30000 then I attended kcet option entry I got the same college in 1St round the fees I want to pay is 26000 what I do next please tell me? is the college change my management seat for cet seat?

Mohammed Thouqeer 16th Jul, 2021
Hello,

Here is a good question so, you have admitted to a college by management quota then you have written KCET exam through which you have got the same college in 1st round.

Yes, the college management will change the seat from management to cet seat . You need not worry since you have got the college through kcet exam the fees which has been paid extra on basis of management seat will be refunded ( that means you have to pay only kea prescribed fees ) as the rule of KEA and now your seat will be of CET quota not the management seat.

for more details about this you can visit KEA website given below
