You can give GATE in any branch and in Mechatronics it will be the combination of EE, ECE and ME. But I personally sugget you that you can opt ME in GATE among them because there are no problem to take admission in M.Tech but PSUs companies are taking Mechatronics

Gate cutoffs for previous few years for CSE iit Roorkee was around 

57.23 for general , 51.62 for obc , 38.51 for SC , and 39.3 for st.

The cutoffs vary every year depending on the toughness of the paper and the number of stufestu giving the exam but expect
