It depends upon the software companies visited at the campus whether to allow electrical engineering students to apply for their company. The university has nothing to do with it . Some companies allow and some don't allow totally depends upon them.  They have a criteria .

After BCA, it is better to do MCA ,as this is the course related to your graduation study course.

M.Tech is a better choice for a B.Tech student. Now the things you have gone through in BCA, are going to be studies in an elaborated manner.

Hey Rani

Thanks for your query! All the courses will have a different counselling that it you will have a different counselling for btech and different for mtech. You won't be having the same counselling. So, yes it will be separate counselling.

Hello Rani,

For your kind information all the courses which you have mentioned like M.Tech dual degree, Agricultural and simple Btech will have counselling from the same date. This is because all above stated colleges have B.Tech as a primary course so same date is for their counselling also.

Time span will be 5-6 years for Mtech dual course which depends on which course you are applying.

A dual degree course is sometimes beneficial than a simple B.Tech course because it can save a year of yours. A simple B.Tech degree taken 4 years,  and a M.tech takes 2 years,  but a dual degree B. Tech + M. Tech course takes only 5 years.
