Chances are very less as this time question was bit easy this time and many are getting above 60.

But do not loose hope, if your only aim to join PSU's or doing Mtech from IIT's or top NIT's then drop one more Year and start working hard

If you are getting 49 marks in SC category then Converting into General marks it will be somewhat 74 or 75. This General marks has nothing to do with your selection.

But, yes you can get most of the IIT's and if given chance please go for IITB

if you want to take admission in M.Tech then you have to appear in PG CET ot GATE exam for that.

I think, Gate qualification or more that qualification no is enough for take admission OU.

MHRD has banned the technical education like B.tech & M.tech programme on distance mode including AMIE, No Institution is permitted to offer Diploma, Bachelor or Masters level programme under ODL mode in Engineering and Technology now as these programme is not possible without Lab or practical.

Hello Samson. In Gate 2018, the qualifying marks for M.Tech in life science (XL) was:

• General- 29.9
• OBC (NCL)- 26.9
• SC, ST & PwD- 19.9

Though the cutoff for GATE 2019 will be declared on 16th March 2019 but you may expect a cutoff similar to previous years.
