Also iits Mtech have good placements many automobile core companies recruit .

U can enter research oriented companies too

I would say u to join psu like BPCL rail way junior engineer, BHEL etc

There is a decent chance to get in University Departments of Anna University - CEG, Chennai for chemical engineering as you need to have a normalized score touching 60 to 70 so that you can have your own choice of the branch in M.Tech in Chemical Engineering. Yes you can quit your M.Tech. in the middle of the course if you get a job. Although it will be difficult for you to get a job in the middle as companies come to campus for placements of the final year students and thus you will have to apply to various companies on your own along with studying your course and preparing for interviews.
