If my score is 39 in mtech pgcet 2019 what may be my ranking ??

Sonal Mullick 31st Jul, 2019

Hi! Congratulations for your score in pgcet exam. With a score of 39 you can expect around 50000-55000 ranking. It will totally depend on the cut-offs of different colleges and the overall performance of all the students. You can check into previous year cut-off for a better idea. Here's the link https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/karnataka-pgcet-cutoff.

Thank You!

I got the admission mtech in artificial intelligence and machine learning but I have not taken the admission due to 12 class Marks is 43

Deepshikha Student Expert 31st Jul, 2019
Hey,
Your question is slightly vague. See,for Masters of Technology(M.Tech),the minimum eligibility criteria is to have a Bachelors of Technology(B.Tech) in the relevant stream. So,the marks of class 12th should not be any source of worry for you now. As you have already met the eligibility criteria before pursuing your B.Tech.
The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue M.Tech in Artificial intelligence and Machine learning is to have B.Tech or B.E degree with 50 percent marks. You need to clear entrance tests like GATE to study this.
Hope this helps you.
Good luck.

What is better to do after GATE Perdue to PSU jobs , Do mtech , or else doing PhD ?

sarthak goel 31st Jul, 2019

Hello Vikrant,

According to me, this solely depends on your interests. GATE is a very prestigious exam and you can apply to various PSU through your GATE score, such as BHAIL, GAIL, IOC, SAIL. These organisation have a very good reputation and are considered as dream companies by some people. Therefore, applying to any of these companies might be a good option.

Doing M.Tech is also a good choice provided you do it in a reputed college such as IIT or NIT.

The same is the case with Ph.D. It is only that your opportunities will increase after having post-graduation.

Therefore it entirely depends on your interests, gate score. You may consider applying for MS as the gate score can also be used for study abroad scholarships.

Hope this helps

Who is eligible for full fee reimbursement in Mtech colleges in Telangana through tspgecet

Himanshu Student Expert 31st Jul, 2019

For GATE students you will get 12,400 per month.

For PGECET students AICTE will not give any stipend directly but they may get stipend through TEQIP funds, but these may be only in Universities, they should apply for it and if the TEQIP funds are available college may give it to students but this is not mandatory.

Even if someone is eligible for it and funds are available they may not give for every month, they may give you at once at some time or at end of the course.

This is what I know, thank you.

What is The Mtech Admission Process.in IITS.How to Give Seat in IIT s please tell me?

Sunanda Dhar Student Expert 30th Jul, 2019

I’m gonna be talking about only the Old IIT’s

Primary method is GATE score(pretty much all IIT’s), actual marks scored in GATE(e.g - ROORKEE).

Interviews are most common once you get shortlisted(IITB, IITD, IITK, IISc are few examples)

Written exams take place in IISc and IITB for some branches not all.

IIT’s which shortlist students solely based on GATE score - IITM, IITKgp, IITR

IITM and IITKgp counselling process is online.

IITR counselling process happens in the campus, one has to be present in person and alert when his/her roll no. is called, you miss it, the next person below you takes your place.

All IIT’s except IITK let you appear for more than one interview if eligible.

The branch preference order while filling up the application forms are very important. Messing it up is not advised.

For example, this is the order you choose:

1. Signal Processing.

2. VLSI

3. Microwave

Say you get shortlisted for Signal Processing in the 1st round, you can no longer get shortlisted for VLSI, Microwave etc.

Different specializations have different GATE score requirements, VLSI pre-requisites pretty much reigning over others in pretty much all IIT’s.

Then there is this COAP process adopted by pretty much all Old IIT’s which totally messes up things. People can either get lucky or can get stuck with a shitty stream. Pretty sure there will be some changes to it, so not gonna be talking about it right now.

Hope you find it helpful

let me know in the comment box if you are having any further doubts

thanks

Good Luck!
