I like Automotive Electronics and VLSI too ? Which one to choose for M.Tech ?

zubin916 7th Aug, 2018
VLSI is more into embedded design and chip manufacturing and has great opportunities with top Technology hardware manufacturing companies.

Automotive however has average opportunity andmajorly with Automobiles sector.

Jib opportunities and average salary is hummongous for VLsI studnets and starts at 7lpa from IITs on average.

For Automotive electronics, average salary is 5lpa.

Henece VLsI is best preferred option.

suppose I m complete Mtech in IIT bombay and MBA in IIM In I ndia i m elgible or not? for CEO of any Software company Like Google and MS?

Sreetama Datta 15th Sep, 2018

Hi Subhash! That would indeed make a very attractive profile! You would be definitely eligible in terms of qualification. Each company has its own set eligibility criteria for CEO post as well such as number of years of service or others. However, it's not just about your qualification or number of years of experience that matter to be the CEO. It is the leadership skills, vision for company and clients, innovation and ideation that matter the most. It is more about how good a leader you are than how good a manager you are. While all good leaders are good managers, but all managers are not necessarily good leaders. If you have already done MBA from IIM then, needless to say, you must've acquired the right education and skills. Now it depends on your hard work and how you choose to utilise it over the years to reach your dream career destination. All the best!
