I would like to tell you that you must clear what you want for your future. If you are so interested in CSE you should have taken up cse in your b.tech as well. This will definately affect your m.tech.

What i suggest you is to take up a course and have certified trainings in programming and codinh etc. before you appear for GATE and go for m.tech in cse.

• The basic criteria of pursuing M.tech ( chemical engineering) degree is qualifying B.E/ B.tech in chemical engineering or equivalent examination.
• Some of the reputed universities and colleges conduct their own entrance examination in m.tech degree course. Generally most of them take through GATE Score merit list

After BCA you can not apply for M.tech through GATE, but for private colleges you need to contact them if they allow you for M.tech.  You can go for MCA, it is a good option & MCA is an advanced and more detailed version of BCA course. The program has the topics such as Software and Applications Development, Hardware, Networking, Mobile Computing, Computer Science, Programming languages, Algorithm, Internet Technologies etc.

Admission in ISI for mtech is based on GATE exam score and also non GATE exam student can take admission by giving entrance exam which is conducted by college itself. 

If student score good marks in gate and non gate student score good marks in written test than they will be called for interview and than selection is done.
