In 2018, 3 students were placed from MTech Biotechnology in the company Pathfinder. There were no other placements for the same branch in MTech. Most students go for further research or Competitive exams other than opting for placements from this branch.

There is no clear mention about the seat up-gradation process on the exam notifications released by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. So, I would suggest you get in tocuh with exam conducting authorities to find out what is the upgradation process.
