I am pursuing M.tech in structure in this college....campus is very well maintained and environment is very good.facilities you will get is quiet good.and infrastructures e.g-laboratories are well equipped,Faculties and technical staffs are also good and fees are increases day by day though it has less semester fees than other National institutes.

If you are looking for a college from where you can continue your preparation for competitive exam (GATE,PSUs & others) along with M.Tech ,simply don't go for this college.Extremely good natural environment inside the college campus but the Post Graduate section is extremely adamant.You won't get any scope for preparation.Choose this college if you only require a degree as you won't be placed from the college.If you are a GATE qualified candidate and looking for saving some penny don't go for this college as you simply won't have money remaining with you with the huge course fees and hostel & mess charges are getting increased day by day.Again I repeat if you are looking for a degree and having plenty of money to expend go for NITTTR, Kolkata.This is kind of a mixed type ,a central government institution providing M.Tech degree in collaboration with MAKAUT(formerly WBUT).PG section is the worst about the college as it is kind of a dictatorship going on & one Group C staff willingly decides rules and implements the same according to his will.It won't allow you any flexibility even iff you are thinking of doing part time job along with M.Tech , don't go for this college.You won't simply get any scope of doing anything extra out of your curriculum as attendance is strictly monitored by PG cell.A must 75*/* attendance is required here.Thus think twice before taking admission.

Both reviews are of students of the college itself with different look out. And to be true college does not play such an important role as it's the hard work of the student itself.

Your scores are fine but getting a government college is not that easy. Since yiyo scores are fine so there may be a possibility that you may  get one of your choices but its just a probabbl solutions so you may have to wait for otthe rounds of counselling as well. Good luck!

Yes, you can definitely do a job while pursuing your M.Tech. You will have to opt for Part time Post Graduation courses that are available. You can definitely sit for recruitment that are offered for B.Tech but please do take care as it is very often that you find a job that gives you flexible hours for pursuing your M.Tech as atleast some amount of time has to be dedicated to the PG course.

Since you asked about the counselling venue of WB PGET 2019, let me tell you as mentioned in the prospectus of the University, the dates and venue for counselling are declared online on the official site of the university after the result of PGET are declared. Till now there is no notification about it. Stay tuned and keep checking the website, it will be there soon.

Mtech for which College or exam are you willing to have the answer key for seeing the solution. Plz do mention it clearly because its too difficult for us to preassume so better get it cleared and get yourself querry resolved for this by our team of experts. Good luck!

The answer key was supposed to be release on 20th or 21st july. Due to some unavoidable situation it is not released. It will be by the end of this month. The answer key will be available in the official page of KEA.
