Hello student you need to apply for it to the counselling department as well as college admin. Help me with your college so I can provide you exact information.
Feel free to comment if you have any doubt

Hello Karan,
I understand your concern and I am here to help you regarding your query !!
I'm sorry to say that you'll not be able to get the certificate of successful completion of your Masters if you stop after one year. Because, it comes under discontinue and will not get any certificate. It is advisable to study Mtech without completely leaving it and parallely you can also do the job. So, that both will work and you'll get the certificate too. Please don't waste the one year of hardwork.
Hope you understand!!
All the very best wishes for your future endeavours !!

Hello,
From you question i can understand that you are asking about admission in government college for M.Tech course.
You will need to appear for gate exam in your preferred branch to get admission in a government college. It does not matter in which branch you have done your B.Tech you can just apply for GATE in bramch you want to pursue M.Tech.
There are less number of seats in M.Tech program in most of colleges so you need to score good marks.
Placements in the college are awesome. college provides amazing placements.Remembering the fact that the college was established a few years ago, students of IT and CSE branches get placed in the best companies like Amazon and Microsoft with a package of 35 LPA and more. The average package offered to CSE and IT students is 12 LPA-15 LPA. Placements for the rest of the courses are good with the highest package being 15 LPA for mechanical students. Every year, almost 100% of students get placed.
Hope this helped.
Good luck!
