Dear aspirant 64 percentile in jee mains is not enough percentile to get a decent college.you have got good marks in 12th board i appreciate it.you can see cutoff over here.I think it would be harder for you to get as per you desire.But again u can check it over

I am extremely sorry to tell you, with 40k rank in Jee mains and considering no reservation quota, your chances of getting mechanical in any NITs in mainland India is very low. Even in north-eastern NITs, older ones like NIT Agartala and Silchar closes around  37000 rank. Only other
