Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely fine.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you in brief about everything in Mechatronics and it's scope in India.

Mechatronics Engineering is the sub-branch of engineering, which mainly focuses on the engineering of both electrical and mechanical systems. It also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, computer, and many other elements that are included in the course.

This course on Mechatronics Engineering is very useful as it helps the student study/know more about robotics.  A degree in mechatronics can be achieved by pursuing Btech in Mechatronics Engineering in any of the reputed colleges of India - NIT,IIITs or any government colleges that provide the course. And after the completion of the course, candidates get offered by various jobs.

Some of the job profiles where the candidates can be hired are Mechatronics Architect, Automation Engineer, Research Assistant, and many other job profiles. They get a chance to work at some of the top companies and help them in increasing their work experience by working in companies.

So, you see that there is a vast and majority scope of Mechatronics degree and course in India, so there is a no problem about learning that course. rather it's a very reputed and learned degree.

Hello.

See it is not at all possible to answer you particularly. Both the colleges are good in different ways. It is completely your choice and it should be because you know what would be best for you. There are a lot of things you have to consider before joining an institution, such as whether the environment suits your or not, how the faculties are, what is the scope for extra curricular activities, the hostel facility, etc. So you need to make a decision keeping in mind these all things.

I enrolled this year for btech in mechatronics .. how are the placements and is the syllabus upto the industrial level?

Abhishek Roy 3rd Nov, 2021

Depending on your College, you may or may not have strong Placements for BTech in Mechatronics. However, for strong career scope and prospects in the Manufacturing, Automotives and Design Industry, you must pursue Masters/MTech/MS in Mechanical and related branches from some of the Higher Technical Institutes like Top IITs/NITs/IISc Bangalore and many others or Top Universities Abroad. As far as the Syllabus is concerned, it is at par with Mechanical Engineering, with components of Electronics, Computational Studies, Industry 4.0 and Robotics.

can we take MS in mechatronics, Automation and Robotics at 1 time..

Sudeshna Dutta 22nd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

Sorry to inform but it isnt possible to do masters in these field. Had it been your bachelors, then may be you could have got the chance to study these 3 subjects as your optional elective.

However in masters, you need to choose a particular domain. And these 3 are completely separate domain. May be if you choose mechatronics, then as an optional elective you can choose the other two where you wont be taugtht the subjects in detail. So you need to choose wisely

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
