Hello Koushik,
I assume your question is regarding a Btech course foe mechatronics engineering in India. Unfortunately IITs do not offer a separate department for mechatronics yet but the subject is widely present across top IITs and there is a dedicated lab and research center for it too. It majorly comes under Mechanical Engineering as a core subject. Some NITs do offer mechatronics as a branch and you can check those out.
Good Luck. Hope it helps!!
As i can see that your answer seems to be little incomplete as you have not mentioned the name of any particular college but as assuming that you have been asking about PEC than definitely one of the good choice for future studies as it has a good academics and also in terms of Infrastructure it is well developed and has a student friendly environment which is a very positive experience for students and in terms of selecting branch so that firstly depends upon your choice because your interest will only help you in learning that branch and talking about popularity than Computer branch is currently the most popular branch and has a great competition and than Electronic and Mechatronics hence, you can choose wisely according to your preference.
Thank you..
