I dropped 3 years for NEET, still scored low marks. I realised that PCB doesnt interest me anymore, can I do Law or Journalism?

Swetanshu Subhrajit 25th May, 2019
Hi candidate.
It's never too late to start anything. I took a drop twice and wasn't able to get past the 500 mark. I ended up doing Doctor of Pharmacy in Bharati Vidyapeeth which is the best college in India for it. Lately I've come to know the scores of options for the future that I get here. There are a lot of courses out there and they are just waiting to be pursued. Find something that interests you and see it's scope in the future. Then go for it. Even doctors and engineers with improper education are unemployed. So it doesn't matter what you study. What matters is how much heart can you put into it. Once you don't have interest in a particular subject you might not put all the hard work in it. If you want to go for journalism or any other arts or commerce related fields, you can try going through the management quota seats right now via third parties. This is because most of the colleges in India have closed admissions and foreign colleges don't accept students for the academic year so late. If you still want to you go to some foreign country and study these subjects, I'd say you give your heart and soul into the preparation for SAT. Once you have a good SAT score, getting into a foreign college will be very easy. if you don't want to study MBBS in Russia or Ukraine or any other such country just tell your parents that only 22% of students who come from these countries clear the screening test held by India because of the poor level of education.
Thank you and all the best to you.

What is difference between 1 yr. Diploma and 2 yr. Diploma in mass communication from india today media institute?is 2 yr. Diploma helpful f

Amita Marotkar 25th May, 2019

Hello Abhijeet!

A diploma is a short term course lasting 1 year or 2 years. Diploma can be conducted by a university or polyttechnic as well. It is awarded for a specific skill or profession. the importance of diploma is considered less than a degree.

Any institute providing a diploma for 1 year covers the basucs of a particular course, and in 2 year course they provide the basic plkus advanve level of curriculum.

If you consider the 2 year diploma you will be benefitted immensely. The syllabus for 2 year diploma is designed in such a way that it will enhance your knowledge regarding the subjects and practical training will focus mainly upon skills rather than theory.

India today media institute is a great option for mass communication as the experts are the teachers and will provide you that guidance.

Hope this helps.

All the best!

DCAC, Kamla nehru college, IPCW, kalindi college, maharaja agrasen which is better for journalism?

Ishita Roy 24th May, 2019

Hello Priya,

If you are looking for Journalism as a practical course, IP College of Women offers the best facilities among the colleges you have mentioned.

IP College of Women offers separate labs and equipments that is needed for Journamilsm. However it also depends on what branch of Journalism are you looking for, as Journalism is an umbrella term.

If you are looking for Mass Media and Journalism, I would suggest you to go for IP College of Women. There is also an opportunity for you to work on DU Beat, and IP College's own Radio Network and other such platforms.

However, if you are looking more into the technical field of Journalism, like multimedia, I would suggest you to actually apply in Private Colleges, like VIPS, IP University; Symbiosis, Pune or Bennett University, Noida. (my bad, I mentioned Haryana by mistake)

I hope this was helpful!
