I got 176 in neet ug 2019 , and I belong to UR PH category , will I get admission through state quota?

ipsita_1526403689 Student Expert 12th Jul, 2019

Hey,

With this marks you have negligible chances of getting admission in a government college for MBBS or BDS courses. You can get a seat in private medical colleges. You may check the college predictor to know about the probable colleges you might get admission in.

I get 445 marks in neet UG 2019 shall I get Seth g s medical college Mumbai?

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 3rd Jun, 2019
Hi

As per your query I would like to tell you that seats are divided into 70%  regional and 30% state quota according to which  last year least marks to secure a seat was 602 marks from unreserved category and 566marks from  OBC category in Seth gs medical college, mumbai under 70% regional quota whereas under 30% state quota 477 marks scored a seat from OBC category which states that you won't get a seat in Seth GS Medical college as your marks are too low. Remember cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category

Which is better KGMC,Lucknow or Grant Medical College,Mumbai considering all its facilities, pros and cons?

goutmdadhich7240_5744265 Student Expert 12th Jul, 2019

Hello Koustav Biswas !

Both of them are quite good as far as quality of education is concerned. You can choose Mumbai if you are comfortable living away from home. Few advantages ( I may be wrong) of GMC Mumbai are-

  1. The amount of clinical exposure is very high as it is situated in the heart of the city.
  2. There is no strictness as such for attendance hence it solely depends on your interest for the subject.
  3. It has got some of the best faculty in the country who eagerly wait to clear doubts.(But they have to be approached by the student)
  4. The campus is huge and beautiful despite being in Mumbai where space crunch is very eminent.
  5. Various professionals visit from all over the world hence exposure to new innovations in medical field is quite good.
  6. They have their own gymkhana right opposite to the famous Marine lines hence you won't have problem telling your date out after a workout.(just kidding)
  7. Last but not the least,Mumbai is a city you will fall in love with from the moment you come.

Feel free to ask further.

Can I get Grant Medical College Mumbai with 533 marks in Neet with Maharashtra Domicile and UR category, please answer?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd May, 2019
Hello
Last year marks required in neet for a seat in Grant Medical College, Mumbai was 544 for general category under state quota,  plus this year neet paper was quite easy so chances are that cut off marks may get a hike,  so with 533 marks chances are that you may lose a seat in Grant Medical College, Mumbai by few marks.
thankyou
Please feel free to ask your further queries if any.

Sister got 563+ in NEET (OBC).. will she get Nagpur government college or Grant Medical College, Mumbai (State quota) for MBBS?

Ronit Jain 12th May, 2019

Yes, with a score like this, you have a chance of getting into a government medical college, but getting a seat in Grant medical college or Nagpur government college is a little difficult, but not impossible of course.

But if we look at the previous years cut-offs, you fit in to the category of getting a sure shot seat elsewhere in the country.

So, I'll leave a link here having a list of all the government medical colleges with their cutoffs, fees etc.
