Can I start fresh registration for second round in medical counselling in state quota without participating in first round?

Swarnabha Das 7th Nov, 2020

Dear aspirant

No you can't. You can apply fresh only in mop up round.

First of all I am explaining you in short the rule of choice  filling.During choice filling you can put any no of choices there and sort them according to your facvourable interest . In every round you will be allotted only one department of one college . According to your sorted choice list the top most available choice with vacant seats will be given to you . If you are happy with that then you lock that and get admission . Otherwise you upgrade( slide or float) If any of the preceding choice's  seat  becomes vacant then you will get than otherwise you get the allotted seat given to you from the previous round. But under any circumstances you can't get the receding choices after you are allotted a particular option. That's how it works. So choice filling and seat allotment is very vital.

So if you don't get anything new ollege or department in round 2 then you will get the seat of round 1.

Best Wishes.

Can I get the same college in round 2 which I was alloted in round 1 of AIQ medical counselling?

shubham 7th Nov, 2020

Hello,

All India Quota allotment is based on what preference and availability of seats.

So if you want the same colleges then you have to arrange the college list accordingly. And then if the seats are available still then you have chances of getting it.

So you can have the college name at top of the list to have more chances of getting it.

Still if you want to know which college you can get with your score you can also try careers360 college predictor tool

should I submit nativity and eligibility certificate if I apply in management quota under tamil nadu medical counselling

Shakti Swarupa Bhanja 4th Nov, 2020

Hello student!

Yes you have to submit nativity certificate to claim MBBS seat under management quota. Eligibilty certificate is a basic requirement.

State Directorate of Medical Education has insisted the candidates provide nativity before claiming MBBS seats under quota. This was done to avoid confusion in allotment of medical seats under state and management quota at the government colleges as well as self-financing colleges, the therefore the state government has asked to provide documents to prove nativity to claim MBBS seats.

what is the rooster method of seat allotment in medical counselling by mcc. please explain sir/mam

DrTeeth 31st Oct, 2020

The complete procedure of all india counselling is as follows:

  1. Online registration, fee payment, submission of form, choice filling an locking of choices
  2. This is followed by the 1st round of seat allotment
  3. If you are allotted with a seat, you have to report to your institute and complete the formalities there. If unfortunately you do not get the seat, you can apply for round 2 (candidates already registered for round 1 need not pay the fee.). Fresh candidates can register for round 2 again and pay the fees.
  4. Even if you have been allotted a seat in round 1 but wish to upgrade, you can participate in the 2nd round (candidates satisfied with their seats need not do so).
  5. Choices filled in round 1 will not be valid, so you have to fill the choices again. This is mandatory for all candidates.
  6. Second round of seat allottment takes place. The candidates who have successfully secured their seat in round 1 and 2 get the refund of registration fee.
  7. If you still do not get a seat after the 3rd round, you can re apply for the mop up round similarly.

Candidates obtaining a seat in the second round are not allowed to vacate the seat what so ever.
