According to previous year cut off of  govt. Medical colleges of Tamilnadu under bc category tha cut off ranges from 588 to 643.
Which means your score is too low in comparison to this cut off and there is very low chances to get you an admission in

The cut off depends upon the number of seats available , the number id candidates qualifying the exam , the difficulty level of the paper etc.

Though new colleges have been given permission but at the same time there are many seats which have been taken out

hey ramya 

with 230 marks and belonging to st category you might not get govt college in tamil nadu. as per previous year the cutt off of tamil nadu under state quota was more than 530 marks for st category. however we are not sure about this year cut off

Frankly speaking with a score you are expecting you have very less chances to get into govt colleges through the AIQ and state quota both even if you belong to the reserved categories you have very less chances to get into govt colleges.

You can get Coimbatore Medical College if and only if you belong to SC or ST category.
Most of the tamilnadu medicak college have cutoff which suits you if you belong to sc or st category. I have listed some below:
