First of all I would like to say that previous year rank doesn't decides your this year result or future. You might perform well this year in Jee. But if you know how you are going to score, then yes, MIMIT is A an option for you. Located in Jalandhar it offers B. Tech course in 4 disciplines. Also the admission is done on jee marks. It has approx 1 lakh fee per year. Placement are good, you can also get scholarship,, but yes you can't only depend on college placement. You have to try and appear for different exams. Hello aspirant,

Fakir Mohan University has extended the application form submission date to November 2, 2020, for Integrated B.Ed – M.Ed Program 2020-21.
On October 5, 2020, Fakir Mohan University announced that the Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education (DDCE) will not conduct any admissions for the academic session 2020-21. There will be no admissions in FMU DDCE in 2020. However, the 2019-20 batch will be continued until the completion of the course.
On October 7, 2020, the university announced CPET 2020 dates. The examination will be held in 3 shifts from October 12, 2020, to October 22, 2020. The application fee for the same is INR 600.

Dear Student,

This a famous institute for its infrastructure, faculty and placement details. The campus is fully wi-fi connected. The labs are up to dated. The canteen is very clean and the food quality is also good. The medical facility is also available here. The faculties are very well educated and they heled the students in various ways. The placement is also good here.

Placement:

The placement cell is very active here. It has created a Whatsapp group via Google documents arranging students for them who are in final year. The students got internships too. Various local companies visit here for the placement purposes. The average salary offered here is INR 5 LPA.

Hello,

Once the applications are closed you cannot apply for BITSAT 2020. The last date was May 11, 2020 to apply for BITSAT 2020. The applications were not opened again. You have to know the importance dates so that you won't miss the deadline. You may have to apply next year if you want to get admission in BITS or you can seek admission in any other college if you don't wish to wait for one year.

I got 46.27 percentile in jee mains (September). i am belong in open category . can I got admission in engineering clg?. in 12th standard I got 567/600 marks . but my jee score is less. should I do engineering ? in 12 PCM group. 250/300 group marks. 83.33%. can iam trying for other corse?

As per your JEE Main percentile it's hard to tell you about your admission possibilities but you'll not be able to get admission in any IITs, NITs or GFTIs.
As per private universities or colleges you'll have a hard time getting in admission but you can still try through state counseling.

Now to answer your question about whether you should pursue engineering or not? It's more about asking yourself this question. Are you passionate about engineering and want to see yourself become a successful engineer? Then Yes, you should take a year drop and prepare yourself for JEE Mains 2021. Prepare harder and be thoroughly prepared and confident and you'll surely get a good rank and thus a nice engineering college.
Apart from that if you think Engineering is not made for you and you're finding it hard to get in, then there are a bunch of other career options like B.Sc, B.Arch, B.Com etc.
Make sure whatever path you choose for yourself you put in a lot of hardwork and effort to get good results out of it.
