how do i get merchant navy previous year paper or sample papers.

Aman Sah 13th May, 2020

Dear Yogesh,

Finding IMUCET's past question papers is a very difficult task as it is an online test and therefore no copies are out for assessment and made public but there are model test papers which may be very helpful.

You can also buy books which give you enough study material.

In 12th Mark sheet Physics and Chemistry is must to appear CET exams? can I eligible to appear/complete Merchant Navy without Science Subje

Aryaman Tewari 29th May, 2019
Yes you are eligible to appear for Merchant Navy without belonging to the Science stream. But do keep in mind, that this is only when you want to be a 'rating' and not an officer.

To become an officer, you will have to have Maths and Physics in your background specifically. And for 'rating' eligibility, you need to pass class 10th.

General Purpose 'Ratings' can choose to work in the Deck Department or the Engine Department.

Good luck!

rohitsharma11607088_8414200 Student Expert 15th Apr, 2019

Sorry to say dear you are not eligible for merchant navy if you get less than 60% marks in 10+2.Because you have to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria of that exam. So dear more focus on getting more than 60% marks otherwise you can't eligible for Merchant Navy.

Best of luck  Ayush
