Dear aspirant,
You can go for cources like
  • Mechanical engineering.
  • Civil engineering
  • Petroleum engineering
  • Marine engineering
  • Chemical engineering
  • Upto this the cources were somewhat related to metallurgy
If you want to go for other stream then you have cources like
  • Computer science engineering
  • Information technology engineering
  • Electronics & communication engineering
  • Eletrical engineering
  • Aeronautical engineering
And many more .
At last i will advise you to take admission to that cource which is related to metallurgy it will help you alot.

Amruta Coimbatore- cse branch, VIT Chennai - cse, NIT Trichy- metallurgical, IIIT Bangalore, bits Hyderabad- civil ; which college is better

Kishan_283 Student Expert 22nd May, 2019
Hello...

First you are comparing different college with different branch which is little bit difficult for anyone to answer.

Now let me try:-

First I am assuming that you have great interest in CSE and you are choosing other branch only on the name of college.

Now as BITS hyderabad is new campus and you are getting civil there so I can say you directly it is not worthy.

Now metallurgical in NIT Tricky means definitely you scored pretty well in jee mains so I will suggest you to go with little bit low rank NIT and choose CSE there like NIT Warangal, NIT SURATKAL etc.

Now If you are comparing CSE of AMRITA and VIT then I can assure you CSE at VIT is far better here in terms of both academic and placement. Last year 21 students of VIT got placed in Microsoft with 30+lpa salary.

As you didn't mention branch of IIIT banglore I am assuming you are talking about IT branch and in terms of academic you will learn better here because many workshop related to coding take place here time to time in which you can compete with students all over the india.

For any further queries feel free to comment.

Best of luck

NIT Tiruchi metallurgical or vit Chennai cse which is the better option?

Oishik_1553142611 Student Expert 19th May, 2019

Hello Sir/Ma'am. According to the list of top engineering colleges in India published by HRD ministry of India VIT stands at 13th position with all NITs except NIT Trichy (12th place) behind it.

So it is now official that VIT is better than all NITs except NIT Trichy.

If you are not getting an IIT or NIT Trichy or BITs Pilani then it is highly advisable to join VIT University.

But it is advisable to join VIT as you are getting the best course.

What should I join, metallurgical in NIT Tiruchi or IT in NIT Raipur

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 19th May, 2019

Hey there

Congratulations that you have choise of both these colleges as both of them have repute. But as far as metallurgy in nit Trichy vs it in nit Raipur is consider I would prefer you go with metallurgy in nit Trichy as there are few colleges in India where metallurgy is there so there demand is more hence you will have higher chances of high package there as compared to it in nit Raipur which is not that good.

Good luck

Sir, I am AIR 173966 OBC NCL then get to NIT trichy home state course for metallurgical & meterial science

Saurabh 1st May, 2019
Hi,  if 173966 is your obc list rank, then you may not get Metallurgical engineering in NIT trichy. The closing rank in the first round is usually around 7599. So even in subsequent rounds, your chances are very low.
