NIT Jamshedpur is well known for Metallurgy. But I suggest you take NIT Trichy since it's the best NIT & placement will definitely good. Also, you will get much better peer group & Campus Culture. Apart from these, NIT Durgapur & NIT Rourkela do have good Metallurgy department.

Congratulations that you have choise of both these colleges as both of them have repute. But as far as metallurgy in nit Trichy vs it in nit Raipur is consider I would prefer you go with metallurgy in nit Trichy as there are few colleges in India where
