Hello Aspirant,
I would suggest you that if there's a matter of choice between biotechnology and microbiology then go for biotechnology as it opens up many more doors, various fields like industrial processes, management jobs while microbiolgy jobs are more research oriented. You also have an option of doing MBA in Biotechnology which is a new and emerging field of work.
Here is the list of some top colleges offering biotechnology course in Madurai :

Hello Reem,
Both Microbiology and Biochemistry are entirely different terms and vast subjects as well.
If depends on your interest that whether you want to study microorganisms and their morphology and their entire life cycle or metabolism and chemical reactions in biotic components.
If we compare both then Microbiology is easier than biochemistry as it is a very vast subject.
If you mean which has more scope then I would suggest you to consider both subjects without bias and similarly if you mean in terms of getting good job, then either is fine.
Hope it helps.
Hi,
Well gynaecology and obstetrics is a course under Medicine. You won't get a Msc degree in it. You will get a MD or a MS in it and the same reason because of which you can only do that after a mbbs and not after a bsc. If you want to become a gynaecologist then you need to follow the mbbs and then me track to become one.
I hope my answer helps.
All the best.

Hello,
Both the options have their own advantages. Like if you do M.SC then you complete your PG which is a minimum requirements of today's market. Whereas, if you go to study abroad for different courses then it will have you get a job there and settle down. It is not that doing a M.Sc from here will not make you competent enough to get a job abroad. But as I said it all depends on your future objectives. Like, if you really want to go abroad then opt for the abroad courses and also complete your PG from there. There are many good colleges in India as well to complete your PG and then go abroad.
Just go through these topics for your Entrance examination:
Anatomy
Physiology
Biochemistry
Pharmacology
