Without Government Engineering Colleges in Kerala non GATE qualifiers student can take admission in private renowned institutions for engineering and technology or in deemed universities in Mtech courses.

The integrated Mtech program is basically a five year integrated course. To be eligible for this programme the candidate must have passed class 10 + 2 exam from a recognised board with the subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics as their Core. The candidate must have scored minimum aggregate mark of 60% in the above subjects.

The integrated M.Tech is a 5 year course. In an integrated course, you need to have the same field of education for both the courses combined.
It is different from dual degree where students can pursue Interdisciplinary courses. In case of dual degree, you will get degree for both.
