Apart from GATE there are several other entrance exams like UPCET, AP PGECET, TS PGCET, Karnatak PGCET, TANCET, OJEE PG, Gujarat PGCET, VITMEE, IIIT Delhi MTech Entrance Exam. There are several others you can check out the whole list over here in this link below.

For GATE 2022 the application process starts from August 30, 2021.
VITMEE and TS PGCET the process will begin by March 2022. As for Gujarat PGCET, it begins in June and OJEE PG begins by February. For IIIT the last dates are around May.
These are based on previous years. As you see it's throughout the year. You have to keep checking for the exam that you want to give. For all the exams you can check out the link I have mentioned above.
After entrance exam, cut off list will be released and then the admission process starts.

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you are definitely eligible for M.Tech in CSE even after having done your B.Tech in Bio-Informatics. Although it might be challenging but with hard work and proper strategy it can definitely be done.
Now, in order to pursue your M.Tech in CSE, you need to write your GATE paper in CSE and NOT Biotechnology. After that, the competition is similar to that of any CSE aspirant only that you need to cover the entire 4-year CSE B.Tech syllabus for GATE.
Hope this was helpful.
hi,
see you can not take admission in m.tech computers science by appearing in gate exam on biotechnology or any others field. you have to take cse as gate paper to pursue m.tech in cs related field.
students are eligible to participate in gate exam irrespective of their bachelors stream of education. even if you have studied biotechnology, you may select cs paper in gate exam to obtain m.tech course.
hope you understand.
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing great there. I am really very sorry to say this but getting a good college and that too in btech- CSE at this score is quite difficult .

You can obviously go for M.tech in aerospace engineering after a B.tech in CSE, infact there will be a lot of growth considering you will hail from a software background and space technology nowadays is advancing on a global level which requires sharp skills and a good hand at coding, data structures and algorithm.
If you are interested in research domains as you mentioned you can aim for IISc as it is the best institute for research in the country and around the world and has also featured in QS and NIRF rankings.
GATE with a under 200 rank(GEN) can fetch you desired branch in IISc and you will have an assured and accelerated career growth there.
Good Luck, Hope it helps!!
