Sohamsengupta8 8th Aug, 2021

Hello STudent

For admission to Bcom courses Mumbai University to apply at east 15 colleges for Bcom admission under Mumbai University. The colleges you have to select will be the constituent college of Mumbai University. For every colleges you have to drop separate applications in online mode. The Colleges you applied for admission where your chance for admission is 25% then you will get one of them for getting admission and you will get the 90%  chances of admission there. If you are confident of your admission in the colleges you applied and its number is 2 to 4  reputed college then you will get a chance to one of this reputed college.

my 10th std marksheet is misplaced and i dont have a xerox of it and i want to fill my mumbai university form what should do because the due date to fill the form is only till 14th august

Aditya 8th Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant,

The best and quickest solution to it would be using the Digilocker online app. Basically all your government documents, certificates and marksheets linked with your AADHAR number are available on the app as a soft copy. You can either get a print out of your marksheet or upload the soft copy itself which ever is instructed.

Later on you can apply in the concerned board for the duplicate copy of your marksheet.

Hope it helps!!

can i transfer from one private university to mumbai university after completion of 1st year ? can i get admission in 2nd year?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 6th Aug, 2021

Nope! You can't do that. This kind of things occur when you read under a college of the same university and if you want to change your college then you can avail admission to the 2nd year of another college only if that college is also affiliated by the same university. But this kind of rules don't occur for separate university/colleges. But if you wish you can always take admission in the first year of the course but lateral entry to 2nd year won't be possible.

i failed in 11th std in 2018-2019 and now i have passed 12th in 20-21 will i require gap certificate while taking admission in FY BMS IN MUMBAI UNIVERSITY.

shreyakhedkar05 10th Aug, 2021

Hello,

See, It depends upon the rules of the college some colleges ask for the gap certificate and some don't. But there are maximum chances that they can ask about it so just to be on the safer side you make a gap certificate to avoid hindrance while admission. Preparing the gap certificate hardly takes 2-3days.

So according to my, you should make a gap certificate.

Hope it will help, All the best!!

prasanna raghupatruni 29th Jul, 2021

Hello,

The NEP 2020 Will be implemented slowly in all Schools and Colleges Across India. It is said that ,Till by 2025 all the schools will be rationalised and by 2040 all the Higher Education institutions will become multidisciplinary. As There isn't a particular date as to when a particular unit will implement it because it is a time taking process. NEP will be implemented in a phased manner slowly across country. 2020 wasn't a feasible year to implement it because of the disrupted academic schedule.

Hope this information will help you.
