As per the recent advancements, Maharashtra Higher Education minister, Mr. Uday Samant said that the decision for reopening of colleges under the universities in Maharashtra will be taken on 20th January. They are planning to start the colleges with 50% attendance in consideration. Kindly be in touch with the news beung published by Mumbai University regarding the same.

There is no any news regarding reopening of schools and colleges in Maharashtra. As of now online classes system has been adopted by almost all institutions.

Even in Mumbai University the online classes are being conducted.

In  Mumbai, till December 31st schools and colleges are not allowed to re-open and afterwards is any decision will be there regarding re-opening of schools and colleges you will get that through different news channel or press releases but as of now almost all educational institutions in Mumbai have adopted the means of online classes and right now situation of spreading of Novel Corona Virus is in control and if the condition becomes more favorable then some offline classes might be allowed and as of the latest UGC guidelines regarding the classes of colleges/Universities then it clearly states that from November 1st new session should be started for first year students either in online made or offline mode whichever will be most convenient as per the situation.

As per the discussion going on in the University, they are planning to conduct the classes in online mode & if feasible they will try to conduct the practicals & other details of the course phase wise so that students can understand the course in better way. Kindly keep an eye on the happenings taking place & the University will update whenever they will start the courses in offline mode.

The second semester of Mumbai University going to be held possibly in online mode. The situations is going alarming  again.The Authority of University of Mumbai will not take any risk to do the second semester of the university on offline mode. There is a possibility of second semester going to be held in online.

The Health and Family Welfare department of Central government has yet published no notification about that.

It is hoped that notification on behalf of Central Government family and welfare department will be published soon by instruction of doing online studies of second semester   of the University of Mumbai.

As the covid situation is again on the rise it will take time for things to become normal once again.Universities can't start offline class unless decided by the health and welfare ministry.So there is high chance that the second semester would be held online.The health and welfare ministry has not given any notice yet.

The maximum probability is to conduct it online. In many states the exams are conducted online. So in these case also its expected to happen online.

There is no official announcement with this regard on universities' site. Hence we cannot predict if there is any announcement which will be made by university of mumbai with respect to conduct of classes in offline or online mode for second semester. i'll recommend you to not rely on any sources until there is official announcement.

Yes, Not only in Mumbai University, but in all Public Universities and Engineering Institutes with exception of Medical Institutes you may expect the Spring semester of 2020-21 to be completely online as the Covid situation is still not neutralised and the vaccine is yet to make its impact.

We cannot predict anything as of now on reopening of colleges in offline mode. However, you can expect it to open soon. But as of now, there is no official announcement of reopening of colleges for second semester by University of mumbai.  Also, the government has ordered schools and colleges to be closed till January 15 due to the second wave of Covid-19.
