Mumbai University
Hello,
Things are still unclear. Though lockdown restrictions are not that strict but still there are restrictions for colleges and schools. And maybe it will be closed till 31st January 2021 because of the ongoing tension with the new strain of COVID. Also traveling by local can be risky in such times and majority of college students depend on locals for their traveling. This year exams were also conducted online and hence we have no idea until official notification comes from the university. Let us hope for the best. Thank you
hi,
see due to corona out break college, university, schools all are remained closed. the institute would open when the government authority would release the notifications. right now there is no information for opening of university offline. so it would likely assumed that your on going online education system would remain same. however follow the official website and make contacts with college authority, faculty members.
Hi Dear,
Centralized Admission Process or CAP is the process of counselling and seat allotment conducted by the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Mahrashtra. The counselling is done for all the colleges under CAP. so, you do not need to apply separately for each college. however, You need to fill online registration form for registering yourself for CAP round seat allotment and counselling. You can do so from official website and upload all documents successfully.

Till December 31st schools and colleges are not allowed to re-open in physical form and afterwards if any decision will be there regarding re-opening of schools and colleges you will get that through different news channel or press releases but as of now almost all educational institutions in Mumbai have adopted the means of online classes and right now situation of spreading of Novel Corona Virus is in control and if the condition becomes more favorable then some offline classes might be allowed and as of the latest UGC guidelines regarding the classes of colleges/Universities then it clearly states that from November 1st new session should be started for first year students either in online made or offline mode whichever will be most convenient as per the situation. There is no any news regarding reopening of schools and colleges in Maharashtra. As of now online classes system has been adopted by almost all institutions.
Also few days ago there is a paramedical college in Mumbai whose principal stated that by the end of this month almost all exams will be completed so after it next semester will be started and it is expected to be in online mode. But we have to wait for the official notification for upcoming month by the Maharashtra government. So keep watching the news ans also the college will notify you wait for the further notice.
I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
There is no official announcement of reopening of colleges for second semester by University of mumbai. However, Students union group has demanded for opening of colleges in offline mode immediately for no loss of studies of students. But as of now, until there is any official notification, colleges are conducting exams and classes in online mode. But if situation remains in control, colleges will start opening in offline mode soon.
"Most exams will be completed by this month-end, so it makes sense to start the new term in January. We are still assuming that classes will continue online and they will resume accordingly,” said the principal of a suburban college. From the statement, it makes sense that the upcoming semester is going to be conducted online.
Hope that helps!
Hi Aspirant,
As the covid situation is again on the rise it hardly seems that the colleges will conduct offline semesters. Moreover it depends upon the health and welfare ministry to announce offline classes and exams when the situation is under control.SO yes there is high probability that the college will conduct online semester from the said dates or around it.
Hope for the best!!
As the current covid situation is increasing again there are high chances that semesters would be held online. There cannot be any offline classes or exam unless the health and welfare ministry gives permission or unless the things become normalized again. So there are high chances that the second semester of degree colleges would be made online.
Hope it helps!!!
