Can we get admission in jj with 150+score in nata. Without applying for saar.

Rishabh_1890 Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

Hello Kaushik nath,

As per your marks you are not eligible for allmost all top colleges as The placement record for all these colleges are
above average for architecture ..

You may apply for spot round there you may get some colleges as per your rank but its chances are very low !!!

(in case if you are from any category then there may be some chances)

All the best choose wisely:)

Can a non maharastrian get admission in sir jj college of arts through nata ? If yes what could be the cutoff score ?

Raashi Kohli 22nd Jun, 2019

Hi, admission to B.Arch. in Sir JJ College of Architecture (SJJCA)  is done on the basis of valid score obtained in NATA/ JEE Main 2019(Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% in NATA (i.e. 80/200) to be considered eligible for admission followed by offline counseling. A 5% relaxation is offered to candidates from SC/ST) category.

In order to be eligible to appear for NATA Exam 2019, a candidate must have passed his/her Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent exam, having Mathematics as one of the subjects and must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in SSC/10+2 or equivalent examination.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English from a recognized board are considered eligible to apply for B.Arch in Sir JJ College of Architecture.

The official NATA Cut Off for various colleges differ from each other and there are various factors which affect it like:

  • The total number of applicants
  • Total number of questions
  • The difficulty level of the paper
  • Previous Year NATA Cut Off trends

The Cut off Rank for Home University Candidates in Sir JJ College of Architecture for general male candidates is 107 and for female candidates is 52. The Cut off Rank for Other Candidates general (male) is 104 and for general (female) is 172.

Good luck

I have just passed 10th. I wanna become architecture so firstly I should give Nata and do B.Arch than go for masters.Or any other way advice

Tiyasa Bhadra 22nd Jun, 2019
Hi there!
Since you have just passed class 10, the first goal is to score great in Class 12, because the architecture colleges places the ranks bases on 50% of your boards marks!!

Now there are lot of exams for architecture. NATA, JEE mains paper 2 and many state level exams for admission in B.Arch. Since B.Arch is a 5 year course and since then you will be turned into an professional architecture and efficient enough to start your practice. But if you want you can pursue a master degree in India or abroad, which is still not necessary! You will be more and more professional and efficient by experience and working with other people.

Best of luck!

i got 96 out of 200 in NATA 2019 and i am qualified in NATA 2019 can i get admission in this college for persuing my barch

abhikshaw100_9176398 Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

Hello Yazdan,

As per the recent updates the qualifying marks for NATA is :-

  • Mathematics-30(out of  120)
  • Drawing-20(out of 80)
  • Aggregate-70

Now based upon the marks you havce scored you have quaified NATA.But your marks are quite less to get admission in the top insitutes accepting NATA score. There is no specified counselling process conducted by Council of Architecture(COA).Candidates need to fill the counselling forms with the name of the institutes they wish to get admission. But the final admission depends upon the cutoff released by the participating institutes.Other than thescore obtained in NATa the percentage obtained in the 10+2 level is also taken into consideration.

You should apply for the private colleges. It would had been better if you had mentioned your merit score, upon whch the cutoffs are decided by the institutes. Here are the steps by which you can calculate:-

  • Divide your NATA score by 2
  • Add it to your 10+2 percentage
  • Then divide the final result by 2

You get your NATA merit score. You can apply for the following colleges for admission(though the final admission is totally based upon the cutoffs)

  • Vadodara Design Academy
  • LJ School of Architecture
  • Parul Institue of Architecture and Research
  • Anant Institute of Architecture

Thank you.

I have not registered and not uploaded kcet number and nata score to kea. Last date is over.I m nt getting nata ranking. Please help

Dheeraj Pramod Naik 21st Jun, 2019

Hi Sriraksha,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry to inform you, but maybe it's too late now to register the NATA score and K-CET number to KEA. If you had not registered earlier, then at least you could have registered it during document verification, where the officials will register as they have access for that. Try contacting KEA support through email by mentioning your problem along with the registration number. I hope this helps you.

All the best.

I have scored 79.85% in board exam[Maharashtra].How much should I score in NATA to get Raheja

sakshamselwal2000_9591011 Student Expert 22nd Jun, 2019

Hello Sakshi,

Admission in Raheja School of Architecture is done on the basis of both NATA score and boards percentile. The score is calculated by 50% of NATA score + Boards Percentile. So because your board percentage is below 80% so you need NATA score 125-140 for getting the desired aggregate score.

All The Best.
