I have nata score 138 and aggregate in state board is 62 but in physics 43,chemistry 47 and in mathematics only 40. I am obc student

SOURIN ROY 20th Jun, 2019

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

According to the council of architecture, the minimum aggregate required in 10+2 is 50% both in overall and individual PCM.

This criterion is valid irrespective of whatever category someone belongs to.

So I am sorry to say that although you have decent marks in NATA, you aren't eligible for B.Arch courses since your PCM marks is less than 50%.

Good Luck!

Vishwaksen Gouda Student Expert 18th Jun, 2019

HELLO ARBAAZ,

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

as the colleges in dubai never accept the NATA score or any other score of other countries they conduct special entrance examination to get the admission

hope you the information

*Ansal University
*Apeejay Institute of Technology
*Birla Institute of Technology(Ranchi)
*Chandigarh University
*Deccan Institute of Technology
*Jindal School of Art and Architecture and lots more. The average fee for 5 years B.Arch course varies between 4-10 lakhs.

How to prepare for NATA entrance exam.....? Please help me i want to join in top colleges through NATA..

SOURIN ROY 17th Jun, 2019

Hello Padhamavathi,

NATA stands for National Aptitude Test for Architecture, which is a national level exam for admission into colleges with B.Arch and B.Planning courses.

NATA has 3 parts, maths, general aptitude and drawing.

Drawing though might not seem like it but is very important for not only the exam but also future studies.

I would suggest working on your mathematics and practising aptitude questions for at least 4 hours a day. The drawing has to be improved too. It should be engineering in type and not artistic. There are several aspects to the drawing that has to be worked upon. Please refer to the following link for more details on NATA - https://engineering.careers360.com/exams/nata

Personally, I would like to suggest you something else also. Please try to give the JEE MAINS paper 2 also. This is the exam that can help you get into some NITs.

Hope this helps and Good Luck!

hello sir, my sons rank in NATA is 2727 with 132 mark and JEE Main 2 rank is 5600 with 92% mark but he Have only 72% mark in HSC (OBC)

Diya Mondal Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019

For getting admission in good colleges for b.arch you dont have any minimum marks in boards but getting 80% and above will help you to secure a seat easily in good colleges like sir jj college.because the marks calculation is done as follows: nata marks/2 + 10+2 marks. thus your jee paper 2 marks is god enough to get a seat.

I registered for B Arch in GGSIPU and apperered before the NATA in June 2019. My question is how I can enter my NATA score.

shruti jha Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019

Hi Tabir,

For this you basically has to go for NATA counselling now separately. On applying in the nata counselling, you will get a chance to choose different colleges which accepts the nata scores for admissions.

Just lock your choices and wait for the release of merit / colleges allotment list. Of you get that college then go there woth all the required documents for the final admission.

For more details and informations check out the official sites.

Good luck .
