I got my provisional certiciate on 20 february 2024 will i be able to give neet pg exam

Prachi Kumari 14th Dec, 2024

Hello,

To be eligible for the NEET PG 2024 exam, there are certain criteria related to the completion of the MBBS course and issuance of the provisional certificate:

  1. Provisional Certificate Date : If you receive your provisional certificate on 20th February 2024, you will still be eligible for NEET PG 2024. The eligibility requirement is that candidates must have completed their MBBS course and obtained their provisional certificate or degree before the cutoff date, which is typically 31st March 2024.

  2. Cutoff Date for Internship Completion : You must also complete your internship by 31st March 2024, which is the official cutoff date set by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).

  3. Documentation : Ensure that the provisional certificate and internship completion certificate are ready for submission at the time of the NEET PG counseling process.

In conclusion, as long as your provisional certificate is issued before the cutoff and your internship completes on time, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG 2024.

Hope it helps !

Hello. Im 2025 neet aspirant belonging to sc category. My caste certificate is from tamilnadu (state certificate) and my domicile is from Maharashtra. So if I make a central SC certificate will it be accepted for AIQ counselling

Mitali Sharma 13th Dec, 2024

Hello

Yes , a central SC certificate will be accepted for AIQ (All India Quota) counseling, provided it meets the criteria specified by the NEET counseling authorities . The central SC certificate must be in the prescribed format issued by a competent authority as per the guidelines of the Government of India .

Ensure that :

1. The certificate is valid and includes all required details ( caste, issuing authority, state etc.).

2. You have your domicile certificate for Maharashtra ready for state-specific benefits, if required.

3. You carry both the Tamil Nadu SC certificate and the central SC certificate during document verification for clarity.

I am an Indian student all my schooling is from India but my board in 11 and 12 was American High School Diploma for which I have AIU equivalence as I have Punjab domicile due to birth and residence will I have to get equivalence from BFUHS for MBBS like NRI ? What NEET code am I ?

kumardurgesh1802 13th Dec, 2024

Hello there,

Since you have completed an American High School Diploma and have an AIU equivalence certificate for class 12, your situation for MBBS admission in India is as follows:

  1. Equivalence from BFUHS : If you're applying under the Punjab domicile quota and not as an NRI, you typically won’t require additional equivalence certification from BFUHS. The AIU equivalence certificate should suffice for meeting eligibility requirements. However, it's recommended to confirm this directly with BFUHS or through their admission brochure for clarity.

  2. NEET Qualification Code : Based on your education background, you fall under NEET Code 02 . This code applies to students who have completed 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board, which your AIU equivalence certificate confirms.

  3. NRI Status Clarification : You will only need equivalence from BFUHS if you plan to apply under the NRI category. As a Punjab domicile holder applying under the state quota, you don’t need to pursue this unless explicitly stated in the admission guidelines.

It’s best to keep all necessary documents, including your domicile and AIU equivalence certificate, ready for verification during the application or counseling process.

What exams should I be appearing for other than NEET as a student with PCB and psychology as an additional subject, I intend to persue a career in psychology but want to explore my options as well.

Afreen 11th Dec, 2024

If you're a PCB student with psychology as an additional subject and want to pursue a career in psychology while exploring other options, consider taking exams like the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). it is a national-level entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate psychology programs across Indian universities and even you can consider bsc courses too.

You can give IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) which offers ug courses in biology and chemistry and also dual degree programs, such as the BS-MS program, which combines a bachelor's and master's degree

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), and entrance exams for specific universities offering psychology programs depending on your preferred location and specialization within psychology.
