See as per your Marks-180 it is difficult to get a Government Medical Seat even if you have a state quota and another quota if applicable. You should have maintained a score above 550 to be on the safer side.

Deemed Universities have the liberty to have their own method of exams and marking. While private colleges are affliated to any one of the universities of the state. Private colleges do come under state counselling, and the segregate a particular amount of seats for government quota.
