National Institute of Technology Goa
Hello Lopes
If you are asking about the average package at NIT Goa,
For a Computer science student the average package is around 10 LPA, and for other branches, it can vary from 5-10 LPA.
It is a good institute and as time goes on it will get better opportunities and better packages.
Hello Siddhesh,
Many things should be considered to say any institute is good or not. Mainly they are the following -
Faculty is very good in NIT goa . You can check their profile on the official website. Almost all of them did their Ph.d in IIT s or in abroad . Many of them have good publications . They are very young , active and one can approach and discuss with them easily . So in terms of faculty NIT g is good.
I have seen my friends of EE branch going to visit a few industries. Apart from industries students here will frequently go to IIT Bombay and IISC bangalore for many workshops , technicals fests etc.
Since you are about to join in masters course you should consider the research scope as you may want to go for Ph.d in future . The masters course here is research oriented . You can publish on average 2 papers with the work you did with your supervisor . That will be helpful for the future .
Masters course in NIT Goa is in its infancy . Lack of permanent campus yet is also a problem. So the core companies for visiting this campus are not much.
To summarize, if your priority is only placements you can see other options also if you get any other good colleges . Otherwise, it is best among all new NITs and growing fast too.
Hello prajwal
Well, it's very difficult as of now,to predict the cutoff for colleges of JEE mains and for jee advance based on percentile. You can first calculate your rank by rank=(100-percentile)*874469/100.With this rank, you can compare previous year's cutoff for different colleges and can predict some of the colleges you may be getting and also the advance cut off.But remember this is not the final rank.It will change based on the april session of mains. To further predict colleges visit https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor .Hope this helps.
Good Luck!

In order to achieve this goal, the following tips could be helpful-
Your basics in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics should be very clear upto 12th std. You should read the NCERT books for basics. Then HC Verma for Physics, RD Sharma for Mathematics, OP Tendon for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry of "Arihant Publication" for detail or extra knowledge. You should also try to solve the previous years question papers, this helps too much and you should also give the mock test to rectify yourself and build your confidence level.
For preparation of exam, the most important thing is your confidence after that you should know the whole syllabus and make your plan properly for learning new chapters, solving the numericals and revision. All three things should be the part of your preparation strategy in daily routine.
The main thing is that you have to build your concentration level, then only you can stay focused on your goal. I would like to say that please limit the study time between 10 to 12 hours and please increase your concentration and speed of reading, understanding and solving the problems then you will not face any kind of difficulty. For more preparation tips, importants topics & books, you can go through the link given belowHttps://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-2019

See you will be eligible for the Other state quota in NIT Goa as that is not your home state. As for marks that can't be predicted as the scores will be normalized this time on account of the computer based exam and two attempts. However, last year closing rank for NIT Goa for Other State quota for ECE was 15843. This may vary this year. All the best!
You can apply for admission in the private medical colleges of Karnataka for management quota seats. You will have to fill the Karnataka MBBS application form.

Hi Ravi,
NIT would be the preferable choice considering the brand image, however, Dayanand Sagar is also a good choice as the college is an established one hence it ultimately depends on your interest.
