Admission to NIT Goa is through JEE Mains. If you clear the cut off rank for NIT Goa, you will get a seat there. The cut off rank differs from category to category.

Getting into NIT itself is a greatachievement so, congratulations.
Now, I believe that rather than focusing onthe ranking of the college focus on which branch you want to opt for. I believe that thelocation of the NIT goa and its ranking should be the deciding factor
I think your rank is good but for best options you have check out the last year cut off and coresponding ranks and than you will get the full approximation about admission.
Moreover you can also try out and check out which college you will get which you wont,>>>

It is very difficult to get any NITs, IITs, or GFTIs but still you need to give a try. So, just go for counseling and maybe you might get some college. But you can not get a good branch and good college too.
