National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur
Yes Rahul there is tution fee waiver for sc and st student. At the time of admission i you need to pay very less amount around 10000 or so. because the josaa counselling fees gets deducted from the fees. After first sem , you just need to pay hostel fee + mess fee + some other institution fees which is around 42000. So what you get that you ddon't have to pay the tution fee of 62500.
So , it's easier than obc or general sttudents.
Thank you.
Surely 100 percnt guranteed..
U have st category..
Any branch any NIT
Hi Tejashree, generally the cutoff for every year is based on the number of test takers, difficulty levels of the exams, number of seats available etc. Going by the past records, this score is a very good score for securing a seat in all NITs. This generally generally yields around 500+ out of 1000 basically. It also depends on which category you belong to.
The closing marks for 2018 for some of the subjects for general category are,
1) Communication systems - 471
2) Embedded System - 461
There are various other courses available for different cutoffs, wherein please refer to our website for more detailed information,

Hello Aspirant,
Thanks for contacting Careers360.
After considering the JEE Main percentile, your probable rank will be 54,429 - 61,929 and your probable category rank range will be 1640 - 1940.
With this much percentile/rank along with your category reservation, you will definitely get admitted into NIT Jamshedpur.
In order to know your final result and the colleges you will get in that rank, you have to wait as of now. The National Test Agency NTA will declare the combined result of both the JEE main exam (1st which was held in January and 2nd which is going to be held in April) after the declaration of result of 2nd exam i.e. April 30. The NITs will declare their respective cutoffs afterwards.
But you can get an idea using the previous year cutoffs. I am providing you a link wherein you can get the previous year cutoffs.

Hi
Congrats on getting such a high percentile with that percentile and obc category you will definitly get into whichever NIT you want but it doubtful about CSE.
According to your percentile your appx rank is 10800-12400.
Last year cutoff of NIT Jamshedpur for CSE branch was in OBC category was 7561
But in general it was 14441
NIT patna

If we see general category, with your percentile you can get into NIT for CSE branch.
