National Institute of Technology Karnataka Surathkal
Hello Aspirant,
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your expected rank would be near about 57,000 and on the basis of this rank it is little bit difficult to get NIT Surathakal until and unless you belongs to any reservation category and deserves Home State quota.
Note that the above prediction is based upon previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change evry year depending upon various factors.
However, I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the admission chances in any of the college for which you are eligible based upon your percentile :-

Dear Aspirants ,
Yes, they will ask in placements and might be you will not eligible for some of companies too because now days mostly every company having criteria at the time of placements such as academic 60% through out and some of companies are demanding are high like 70-75% percentage in 10th and 12th .So it is basically depends upon companies and their criteria but now days almost every company minimum criteria is 60% .
Hope it will helpful

Hello!
For getting any of these NITs or IIIT Hyderabad, you need to get the required percentile or rank in the JEE mains examination since all these colleges have that as one of its eligibility criteria.
Apart from that the boards cutoff marks and the JEE mains cutoff should be satisfied to het an entry in these. For that , a special counselling called JOSAA counselling is done.
If you qualify through all these, you can get admission in them from whichever category you may belong.
Hope this helps and Good luck!
According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 1.2 Lacs and on the basis of this rank and category you can neither get NIT Warangal nor NIT Surathakal because these both are the top NITs and hence there is much competition for these therefore the cut-offs are also higher then other NITs. Note that the above prediction is based on previous year's cut-off because cut-offs for this year has not released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors. You can check out the previous years cut-off for both the NITs from the links given below :-

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your college more precisely based on your percentile and category :-
