See Aakash as you said you completed bca in 2018 , and you want to sit in NIMCET exam in 2020.

For NIMCET exam there is no such age restriction , only you should be atleast 21 years in age.You need to fulfill the basic criteria only like mre than 60% in graduation from recognised university .

You can give NIMCET exam.

see you have not mention your category. so i am assuming you are general. see at this rank you have no chances in any nits. as per last year cutoff.

however year to  year cutoff are slightly differs, and closing rank also differs.

As per previous year cut off trend, your chances of getting admission in one of the NITs like NIT Durgapur, Kurukshetra in 3re round of counselling is high. This is only possible if a similar cut off trend like that of last year is seen.

Yes you are eligible for NIMCET with A BSc IT degree provided before getting admission to college for the course you pass your graduation degree with a minimum of 60% marks minimum or CGPA of 6.5 on a scale of 10 from a recognized university/ institute.

Dear candidate, the minimum education qualification for NIMCET is

• B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects (candidates from open universities are also eligible)
• OR
• B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University

And 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale for GEN category and 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale for reserved category.

According to the previous years cutoffs and trends, with a rank of 1,055 it would be unlikely you will be able to get any college since the maximum cutoff varies around 660 for general. Also there are only about 340 seats for general category too.

You have a great general rank and you can get any NIT. The only concern is about the branch in top NITs you have to check the josaa official site for the previous year cutoffs to avoid error in counselling mistakes which students usually make.Warangal, Suratkal, Trichy, Rourkela being top NITs check their last year cutoff and being from NIT rourkela I can tell you that you have a great chance in a good branch of NIT
