NIMCET is a national level entrance exam and is conducted for admission to MCA programmes offered by NITs. The exam is conducted every year by one of the NITs.
Admissions are done on the basis of merit to MCA programme across NITs located in Agartala, Allahabad, Kurukshetra, Calicut, Raipur, Warangal, Surathkal, Durgapur, Trichy, Jamshedpur, Bhopal and Kurukshetra.
Seats are allotted to candidates on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidate, choice of the institute opted for.
See, there is exam centre of NIMCET in Jaipur but MNIT Jaipur does not offer MCA course. However, International School of Informatics and Management, Jaipur offers MCA course and candidates wth valid NIMCET score and fulfilling the eligibility criteria can get admission here.

According to NIMCET eligibility criteria, Indian students need to have atleast 60% marks or 6.5GPA in their graduation in Science, CA, IT, Technology or Engineering streams. B.Sc, B.Sc(Hons), BCA, BIT students with Mathematics and Statistics as subjects also can apply along with B.E and B.Tech graduates. As long as you have already passed your graduation or will pass by September, 2019, you are eligible for NIMCET irrespective of your A.T.K.T status. However this is just not one criteria for NIMCET. NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) is a national level exam and it is conducted for admission to the MCA programs offered by NITs. If you are asking about books for preparation of the exam, you can refer to-
MCA Entrance Tes Self Study Guide by ArihantExcel with Objective book for NIMCET.Various books are available in the market for preparation of NIMCET exam. You can also solve sample papers and previous year question papers for practice.
According to the NIMCET exam pattern, questions in the exam are asked from the following subjectsMathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, General English.Duration of the exam is two hours and exam is conducted in offline mode. Language of the exam is English.Total 120 questions are asked in the exam. As per the marking scheme, four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and for every incorrect answer one mark will be deducted.
According to the percentage i.e 62% your CGPA should be around 6.5. re confirm your result and CGPA is out of ten.

Minimum marks- 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale(For non sc/st students)
Minimum marks- 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale( For SC/ST students).
So according to this if you are an sc/st student you can apply for nimcet entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria of NIMCET is:
Nationality: Indian
Education: B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons.)/BCA/BIT of minimum 3years with maths or statistics or B.E/B.Tech .Students from open university are also eligible.
Percentage: for General /OBC candidate minimum 60% marks or 6.5 in scale of 10.For SC/ST minimum 55% or 6.0 in scale of 10 is required.
Passing year must not be later than 2019.
B.A students are not eligible neither Diploma students.
