my sc category rank is 12k and I have home state quote can I get civil in nit Patna?

Dear Candidate,

It is hard for you to get a seat in NIT Patna . But as you have mentioned that you have home state quota , then probably you will get some low branch in NIT Patna. You can also check the cut-off of NIT Patna to check the seat availability. Below is the link for that.

I got mechanical engineering in nit patna in mock round 1,can I expect the same seat in main rounds?

Dear student,

In josaa, there is a mock seat allocation round, si that candidates can get a rough idea that in main round counseling, what branch they might get in that particular college. And it is purely on approximate basis.

Now as you have got mechanical engineering in nit patna in mock allocation, then yes you can expect the same. That means you can expect that you could get mechanical engineering in main round counseling.
But that is also not 100% sure results, because this is not the main counseling, because the last date of registration for josaa is 15th October and some of the candidates still might not have registered themselves. But still, you can get mechanical engineering in nit patna during main rounds, as basically the mock seat allocation are generally true.

National Institute of Technology Warangal has a higher rank in the NIRF rankings list compared to National Institute of Technology Patna. NIT Patna has got the 92nd rank whereas NIT Warangal has got the 19th rank.

B.Tech Chemical Engineering in National Institute of Technology Warangal has higher cutoff through JEE Main compared to National Institute of Technology Patna.

B.Tech Chemical Engineering in National Institute of Technology Warangal has lower fees than compared to National Institute of Technology Patna.

So, basing on these points National Institute of Technology Warangal would be a better choice over National Institute of Technology Patna.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting CSE branch in NIT Patna even under Home state quota as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-

which is better pec electrical engineering or nit Patna electrical engineering

Hello,

Both the colleges i.e. NIT Patna and PEC are really good choices and in terms of infrastructure, academics and placements they both are really good.

Since you have stated the same department in both the choices, NIT Patna has a slight edge over PEC due to the fact that it is a NIT and that itself is a brand. PEC on the other hand is also recognized really well throughout India and thus also makes it an excellent choice.

The placement for both the institutes are really nice but in terms of choice I'll suggest you to opt for NIT Patna.

Nit Allahabad civil engineering vs Nit Patna electrical engineering which is better for choosing priority ?

Hello, if you have interest in a specific branch then you can go with that branch.
Otherwise I would recommend you to go with Nit Allahabad as it is a top Nit and it's placement, infrastructure are better than Nit Patna.
Also, Civil Engineering is a good branch if you work hard and learn subjects of Civil Engineering then you will have chances to get good placement.

Nit Patna is also good college with electrical engineering but Nit Allahabad is best among both.

nit Patna mechanical engineering or pec mechanical engineering???

Hello, as both colleges are very good colleges and are highly ranked in Nirf ranking.
Placements are good in both colleges.

Since, branch is same I would recommend you to go with Nit Patna as it is a Nit and most importantly studying in any Nit is a very big thing.
Placement wise, infrastructure wise both colleges are good.

RGIPT Amethi is better than NIT Patna since it has highly qualified faculties from various IITs across the country and are very skilled in their respective branches. The average package of RGIPT is approx. 8.5-9lpa. Students get placed in core companies like ONGC, IOCL, BPCL, IOAGPL etc and is the finest college for the field of Chemical and Petroleum branches. Admission of RGIPT is through Jee Advanced only. So you need to qualify the Jee Advanced exam to get here.
