LNCT firstly is private institute and NIT Raipur is of national importance. 

Metallurgy engineering is considered having abov e70%placements at NIt Raipur with average package of 5.5lpa.

LNCT for ECe brnach gets 4.5lpa average salary anad above 75%placements.

So overall For teaching, placements and brand recognition go woth  NIT Raipur.

Both are good in there respected places. But i will suggested you to go with the NIT. Beccouse overall the percentage of NIT is excellent compare to VSSUT. All the company are MNC which is visiting to the NIT in the state of Raipur.

Nit Raipur is a better option than NIT ROURKELA with food technology. Although NIT Rourkela is better than Raipur but the branch offered there have no high scopes so better to have a good branch

Both collefes are good in terms of faculties, infrastructure and placements.

Depends on your interest which branch you'd like to go with.

As we all know metallurgy is not a core branch. But ECE is.

Basically in metallurgy You'll be taught about composition of metals and intermixing(alloys).

Whereas in
