Nit Raipur is a better option than NIT ROURKELA with food technology. Although NIT Rourkela is better than Raipur but the branch offered there have no high scopes so better to have a good branch

Both collefes are good in terms of faculties, infrastructure and placements.

Depends on your interest which branch you'd like to go with.

As we all know metallurgy is not a core branch. But ECE is.

Basically in metallurgy You'll be taught about composition of metals and intermixing(alloys).

Whereas in ECE - it's all about circuits and the electricity chapters you have read in your class 12th.

I hope this gives you a way to better understand with which branch to go with.

In the end no college name matters. What matters is your own HARDWORK.

If you participate in Spot Counselling then the college alloted to you will be cancelled because spot counselling is done for the vacant seats in all the colleges. All the seats which are vacant from all around the colleges will placed for allocation. So you can't apply for vacant seat when you already have a seat & you already paid the fee.

NIT Raipur has seven Boys' hostels within the campus.  Three hostel blocks of 100 seats each are reserved for the boys from the first semester students.The seats are allotted to the students on the basis of their merit and distance of home town. The hostel administration compiles the applications for hostel admission and after due verification, the selection list is declared subsequently.

NIT raipur is a good college but your stream is not very good 

but lnct is a good college and your branch is CSE great. So if you have financial problem then go for NIT other wise LNCT

Yes, ofcourse it is good to take chemical engineering in nit because as we all know that nit is one of the top colleges of India and it's faculties are highly experienced and placement record is also very good.so you have to go for it.

Congratulations on getting Chemical Engineering in  NIT Raipur.

India has huge demand for chemcial engineering in fields like oil technology(both mineral & edible), fluids, food, pharma, chemicals etc. But as a chemical engineer your work would include spending significant amount of time in chemical plant. Working in between boilers, reacters, pipes & sound is something a bit more time taking speaking politely.

Metallurgy is a boring branch. You can go with ECE in IIIT ranchi.

ECE is a good and interesting branch. But there is not any building for IIIT ranchi its own.
