To get seat in the NIT rourkela ,you must secure a good rank in the jee main examination. If you are a state member of odisha,then you can get relaxation of some marks in state quota
Averagly you must score 160+ marks in jee main to get seat in top branches in nit rourkela

Hello Chandan, Your marks in 12th has no outcome on your admission. Admission in NITs are totally based on your performance in JEE Mains. Though you must get 75% to be eligible for admission in all the NITs but these is no value of 12th class marks in gaining admission in NITs. Yes, getting a 1000 rank in JEE Mains is great to get you a seat in NIT Rourkela as that is well inside the cutoff of that college.
