National Institute of Technology Rourkela
Hello Ankit,
Hello,
NIT, Warangal is fantastic if you consider studying ECE. In general, it is the first NIT to be established and is ranked #2 in NITs.
There is no comparison or doubt when you compare NIT Warangal and NIT Rourkela if you have a choice.
ECE department had one of the best equipped and also had great faculty.
All the best!!
Hi,
It's OK if you did not had biology in your 12th class, if the college is providing you Life Sciences then you must be eligible for it. So if you tink that you are intersted in it and can pursue it easily then you can go for it, or you can always take a drop.
I wish you best of luck
Thank You
Dear student, as you have got the kottayam branch in the first round of counselling process, you may hardly move on to NIT andrapradesh and not more than that. It depends on the availability of seats after the first round counselling is over and even on the number of applicants and their choices.
Well see what you are asking about is that placement scenario of mtech in nit rourkela vlsi course. See the college is wonderful, no second thoughts on that. Also the course is great in itself. So everything comes down to the condition of companies and placement. See the placement is not so promising, but if you are aa hard working child then you ahve chance to get good package.
Yes you may be able to get NIFTEM in CSAB counselling but since it has only 180 seats and that too only 27% seats are available for OBC quota, it may be difficult. With a general rank of 98700 and OBC rank of 27000 you may not expect to get admission in any good college. But you may have chances for lower branches like food technology.
Hello Ayush
It will be difficult but you can get food technology in these colleges:
Institute of Chemical Technology, Matunga, Mumbai
Aditya Engineering College , Beed
Institute of Peoples Science and Technology, Chitrakoot, Satna(1991)
(Considering last year cutoffs)
I would say doing Mtech in bits hyd of design engineering is better .
Because nits Mtech students don't get good placements.
Morever ceramics is not good compared to design engineering so bits would better.
Placement point of view .
If you are interested in ceramics then go with it
But generally bits hyd has good placements and scope for Mtech
The biotechnology engineering at NIT Rourkela is quite good. They have many industrial tie ups with companies like Ispat general Hospital, a unit of RSP. They are continuously introducing new research areas and the latest are “Protein conformations -
