Hello,
It's delightful to know that you are eligible for both the esteemed colleges for a branch in-demand like ECE. IIIT Hyderabad is one of the best colleges of India for circuit related branches. The sheer location of IIIT Hyderabad makes it a better college for job prospects. The updated curriculum of IIIT Hyderabad makes it a better option for ECE branch than IIT BHU or IIT Guwahati Chemical. As per the Information, only 60% of eligible students in IIT Guwahati got placed and the average package was around 14 lac. While IIIT H offered 100% placements. So if you are studying engineering for Jobs you should be choosing IIIT H. Traditional IIT tag is very helpful in your early career and if you are dedicated enough you can slide branches in IIT-G. Thus, it's really your choice.
The reason why I am not even discussing IIT-BHU is that until you have a lot of interest in Mechanical, it stands a bit below IIT Guwahati or IIIT Hyderabad.
In my opinion, you should leave IIIT Hyderabad only for OLD 5 IITs(B, D, M, K, KGP).
Hi ! First it all there is no dual degree upto this year. And secondly it is difficult for you to get nit Rourkela with your rank unless and until you have caste other than general. Dual degree is of generally 5 years and to get it ( better to say to get nit Rourkela ) you must rank between 5000. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
Only a few or none ID related placements are there. If you want to pursue product design then go for higher studies If you have no specific interest in any subject mass recruiters comapnies are for you.
If you have little good at mechanical then have a slight chance to crack core comapnies.
greetings,

Hi , Debnath .
First of all you do not need to attend the institute after the 1st round which you are alloted but you need to attend the nearest reporting centre . And after 1st round if you choose float option then also there is no need to attend the institute you alloted in further rounds . You just have to attend the reporting centre and lock your alloted institute if you are ok with that.
If you dont want to join institutes alloted in 2 or 3rd rounds you can just leave and the float continues till the last (7th) round . But the institute alloted in your 7th round is fixed and you must have to join there if you are not willing to participate inspot round .
Hope it helps you .thank you.
Wel girl, it would be easier for me to guide if you had told your prefered branch, your home state and most importantly your category.
Though, still with your percentile, I'm considering you a GEN girl non-EWS category.
So, with this percentile, your rank would be around 88k which is undoubtedly quite low considering a general apsirant.
So, regarding yoru answer, it is almost nil chances of your's getting a seat at among the better NIT's like NIT Rourkela or NIT kkr
Thank You
Hello student,
NITs are reputed institute. They have an esteemed lineage of alumni and provide great facilities for education and research. Integrated course in Physics is good but only if you are genuinely interested in this subject and want to build a career in this. This is mainly a theoretical subject, so the prospect of career is mainly in the field of academic. Pursuing a PhD in the same might help you further. You can also built a solid career in research. The average package is around 3-7 lakhs per annum.
Cheers!
Hello Riya,
I also had the same problem when I completed my class 12th. I did my 10+2 from Kota, Rajasthan but I have been living in Kolkata till class 10th and my Adhaar is also of West Bengal.
According to rule, you are considered to be a domicile of a state if you study in that state for at least 10 years and one of your parents has some or the other type of business transactions in that state.
So since you are actually from Odisha, thus you will be a domicile of Odisha itself. But to avail home state category in NIT, you will need a Domicile certificate that can be made in a government office.
So you can avail Home State quota of NIT Rourkela.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Hey there as per your ranking in jee mains and previous year cutoff the chances of you get these branches are low.
