Life at NIT sikkim is good. Thogh infrastructure is not upto that but it is sufficient for students because it is situated in remort place.

In terms of placement its is improving in both ways in quality wise also and quantity wise also. Overall it is good.

NITs,there is a reservation for :-
1.Other Backward Classes.
2.Schedule Class Candidates.
3.Schedule Tribe Candidates.
4.Home State Students.
If you belong to general Category,you can get an NIT ny scoring at least 30,000 rank.
An OBC candidate can get a seat by securing around 35,000 rank.
And SC/ST candidates can get NIT even by securing rank around 1,25,000.

Since,your rank is 40,819 in AIEEE,you can't get an NIT.
But you can try for other good colleges through AIEEE counselling.
You can directly contact the colleges which doesn't take admission directly through AIEEE counselling.

You will surely get a good private college with this rank.

Hello bibhan both the college are good , but placement and opportunities are more at NIT Agarthala, go for the branch you have interest in do not go for the brand value of college
