National Institute of Technology Silchar
Hello aspirant
I am very sorry to say this but with this percentile your chances of admission in NIT Silchar , but still if you want to get admission there you have to boost up your jee mains percentile . Also if you belong to general category , you might fail to fulfill the cut off for jee advance by a few percentile .
Wish you All the very best!
Hi Aspirant
There are several stages to determine rank, including percentiles from all attempts, normalisation, and highest and lowest raw scores. Candidates highest raw scores would be normalised to a 100 percentile score for their particular session. The percentage score for each session will be determined by the total number of applicants who took the exam.
When it comes to Category Rank (EWS-Home University), you'll require a rank of 8000 to 18000 to get into NIT Silchar. The 82 percentile corresponds to a rank of around 157404. So you can get admission for Electrical engineering, Civil engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at NIT Silchar.
Hope this helps!
All the very best!
Hlo aspirant!
Since you have got 82.98 percentile your category rank will be somewhere above 1.5 lakhs and since you have ews category , your category rank will be somewhere between 27,000-28000. From the previous year cut offs of NIT silchar chances of your admission there are a bit low , but since you belong to the home state category you should definitely try for admission . I would recommend you to participate in the counselling till the last rounds , since you might get a seat their in the last rounds of counselling.
I wish you All the very best!
Hope my answer helps!
