As you mentioned your percentile, I really don't think you have good chances to good chances to get into nit Silchar as even if i consider your obc category it is still low as per the cut off for nit Silchar is a bit high. Your estimated rank would be somewhat under 1.8 L .

For NIT Silchar, the minimum marks are 55% and a relaxation of 5% is for those who belongs to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Disabilities (PwD) category candidates.
